SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. magazine has ranked Salesify no. 1258 on its annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Salesify gained a special distinction as the no. 25 ranked company in the San Jose metro area. In addition, the company ranked no. 123 out of a total of 410 companies in the Advertising & Marketing industry sector.

"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

Salesify, founded in 2004, is a leading provider of outsourced sales and marketing services. Services include building customized B2B prospect databases; account profiling and competitive research; appointment-setting and integrated lead generation programs; renewal and maintenance sales; and CRM database cleansing. Salesify is one of the largest companies of its kind, uniquely providing a full service and diverse product portfolio, a global reach and multi-lingual capabilities.

"Salesify is honored to have been selected to the Inc. 5000 list," says Gurdeep Chimni, Salesify CEO, "Salesify provides a complete marketing and sales eco system where we gather critical information that allows clients to select target prospect accounts, identify relevant contacts, help influence and build mindshare amongst this select audience and then connect with them. Our rapid growth over the past five years is a testimony to the value our customers see in us."

The Salesify management team attributes their growth to their diverse product and services portfolio, and the ability to scale projects globally to meet client demand. Growth has also been driven by adding innovative services and improving operational efficiencies to ensure deliverables for their clients' changing demands. New services introduced in the last two years include event support, content syndication and competitive and IT environment market research.

Says Raj Hajela, COO, "Much of Salesify's growth can be attributed to efficiencies gained in the last several years, as we have developed better research methodologies including leveraging our proprietary automated tool for targeted research. In fact, we plan to take this tool to market in very short order - offering our clients access to a new level of sophistication for servicing their targeted, relevant and highly focused contact search needs."

The Inc. 5000 Demonstrates Strong Growth Despite Economy

Despite the fact that most of this year's measuring period of 2006-2009 took place during the latest recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $321.6 billion, up more than 50 percent from last year. The effects of the recession are seen, however, in the median three-year growth rate, which dropped to 96 percent from last year's 126 percent.

With a growth rate of 235 percent, Salesify's three-year growth rate was significantly above the median.

According to Salesify CFO, Oliver Deng, "While our inclusion in the 2010 Inc. 5000 list was based on 2009 revenue, Salesify has continued to grow over the past 8 months, increasing from 130 to now over 220 employees, and we continue to enjoy a high revenue growth rate."
