CHICAGO, Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- As healthcare continues to take center stage, there's an increasing demand for effective medical cost containment. It's the third year in a row that Inc. magazine pins Rising (www.risingms.com) to its list of fastest growing private companies in America.

Rising lands on the list's top third for growth, along with music website Pandora and convenience store chain 7-Eleven. It's the same list that big name brands – Microsoft, Zappos, Patagonia and UnderArmour – once graced.

Despite the fact that the data collected to create this year's list included a time period of recession and staggering unemployment, revenues for Inc. 5000 companies increased. Their total revenue tally was $322 billion dollars, up more than 50 percent from last year. The 2010 list also shows employment growth with a record of 1.4 million people added, up from one million on the 2009 list.
