Spokane, Wash.
Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- In an August 2009 press release, Inc. Magazine recognized Liberty Lake-based IT-Lifeline as being in the ranks of the 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States. With a growth exceeding 200%, the company--the Northwest's leading provider of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions for small and medium sized businesses--joins a prestigious group of leading companies nation-wide.
Inc. Magazine publishes a yearly ranking of high growth companies from across the country from all industry segments, and IT Services, of which IT-Lifeline is part, accounts for the highest number of representatives in 2009. It's the hot segment, and IT-Lifeline is proud to be part of the growth club.
"Ranked at 1580 and with better than 200% growth, we're in the top 30% range of hard charging companies in the United States," said Chris Ericksen, IT-Lifeline Chief Financial Officer. "Even in this tough economy, we're prospering. That's a credit both to our employees and industry segment, but to the competitive companies that chose us for business recovery and continuity services. We look forward to climbing in the ranks of this prestigious list next year."
The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. They have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent--not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies--as of December 31, 2008. Revenue in 2005 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2008 must have been at least $2 million.
