Pikewerks Corporation Named Among Inc.'s Fastest-Growing Companies

Madison-Based Company Ranks 282 on Inc. 500

MADISON, Ala., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. magazine recently announced its annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.  Cyber security company, Pikewerks Corporation, ranks No. 282 on the list, with three-year growth of 1,073 percent. "As one of only three Alabama companies, Pikewerks is proud to be recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.," said founder Sandy Ring. "Most of the growth over the past year has been attributed to license sales of our cyber security technologies. We have reached an inflection point and are processing orders for a broad range of customers and use cases, and anticipate continued growth in the coming years."

The globalization of the economy has lead to a significant market expansion as every major technology now requires protection.  Pikewerks provides cost effective solutions that can be implemented within many commercial components today.

The 2010 Inc. 500/5000 list specifically measures revenue growth from 2007 through 2009. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2007, and $2 million in 2009.
