WeVeel brands, maker of Scentos™ products, ranks 27th fastest-growing private U.S. company on Inc. magazine's 2014 Inc. 500 list

NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Inc. magazine ranked WeVeel, the maker of Scentos™ markers, No. 27 on its 2014 Inc. 500 list, a ranking of America's fastest-growing private companies.

WeVeel, maker of Scentos™ scented markers, is ranked #27 on Inc. magazine's Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private businesses. The Morrisville-based company is the fastest growing Pennsylvania business on the list.

WeVeel's three-year revenue growth was more than 8,230 percent, strong enough to place the start-up as the third fastest growing consumer products and services company on Inc.'s list. Overall, the list represents a comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America's independent entrepreneurs.

Last year, WeVeel sold more than 10 million Scentos™ markers in 55 countries. Every Scentos™ product is created by WeVeel's design and innovation team with a unique, collectable or seasonal character and loaded with sweet and fruity custom-made scents. In addition to the Scentos™ brand, WeVeel also sells unique arts and crafts, stationery, toys and party brands at most major global retailers, such as Staples, Target, Toys "R" Us and Walmart.

"We are thrilled and honored to be part of this year's Inc. 500," said WeVeel's co-founder Mike Pecci. "WeVeel is innovative in almost every way and our growth has mostly come by word of mouth. Kids, parents and especially teachers start collecting our unique products and they love all our scents so much they talk and blog with other collectors about their favorite items. The demand for our products continues to explode not only in the U.S. but around the world."

In addition to receiving high ranks in the Inc. 500 consumer products arena, WeVeel is Pennsylvania's highest listed private business this year after recently relocating its headquarters office from Texas to Morrisville in Bucks County.

"Design and innovation are what set us apart and drive our sales," said Joe DiPalma, WeVeel's Vice President of Product Development. "As we expand our product lines and business opportunities, our creative team is constantly finding new ways to appeal to our customers. I'm always excited to see what they will come up with next."

WeVeel's Back to School 2014 product line is the biggest to date, with more than 30 new items on sale in all Office Depot and OfficeMax stores as well as its innovative Back to School line of Scentos™ at Michaels, Staples and Walmart. The new Gelbies™ collectable line launches this season at Target, Office Depot, OfficeMax and Walgreens and the  "tween" line of Sugar Rush™ candy-scented art supplies is exclusively featured this season at Toys "R" Us stores.
