Iverify Achieves Inc. 500 Listing 2009

Charlotte, N.C.

Nov 9, 2009.  First published in 1991, the Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth. To qualify for the 2009 listing, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent. Revenue in 2005 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2008 must have been at least $2 million.

Purchased by Mike May in 2005, Iverify experienced significant growth from 2005 throughout 2008, acquiring InterSTAR in 2006 and Smart Interactive Systems in 2007. In 2008, the security services company consolidated into one 40,000 square-foot facility headquartered on 15 acres in Charlotte, NC. Following the move, Iverify launched a major rebranding effort with the roll out of a new logo and corporate identity, sales collateral and website, and the deployment of a significant technology investment in the company's infrastructure.

Protecting people in the places where they shop and work, Iverify applies next-generation digital audio and video monitoring to reduce internal theft, shoplifting and robbery. Iverify delivers protection solutions that are more economical than guard services, and more effective than guards and conventional burglar alarms.

Iverify's national footprint serves a broad spectrum of industries, including national retail, quick serve restaurants, banking and financial services, automotive, petrochemical, and homeland security. Clients include Family Dollar, Dunkin' Donuts and Citi Trends.

"Iverify is proud to be included on the 2009 Inc. 500 list," said Mike May, President and Chief Executive Officer of Iverify. "Our growth can be attributed to our unique combination of leading edge technology and proven ability to deliver enhanced security results at lower costs. We look forward to making an even bigger impact on the security industry in 2010."
